Winners of Environmental Sustainability in Business Award 2008
OZ Bin Cleaning (Qld) has won the award for Environmental Sustainability in Business
at the 17th annual Redlands Business Achievement Awards.
Queensland Master Licence Holders, Gary and Mary Kellett, were presented with
their trophy by the Redlands City Mayor, Mrs. Melva Hobson at the gala presentation
night held on November 1st, 2008, where tribute was paid to finalists across
primary categories.
The record number and high calibre of entries received for the awards this year
made selection of finalists and eventual winners a difficult task for the independent
and highly qualified judging panel comprising of Garry Waugh – Price Coopers
Waterhouse; Don Drane – Senior Regional Development Officer of Southside
Centre for the Dept. of Tourism and Regional Development and well-known local
identity Kath McNeilly, OAM.

Chamber President Richard Wojcik said all those selected as finalists had exhibited
outstanding examples of good business practice and assembled the ingredients
for continued growth and improvement. The awards provided recognition that these
businesses are doing great work and servicing their clients well.
“Winning this award validates our sound business practices and philosophies
and our team is delighted to receive this recognition. We have come a long way
since being selected as Awards Finalists in the Best Emerging Business category
in 2006 and established ourselves in the marketplace, however this is really
just
the beginning for OZ Bin Cleaning in Queensland,” said Gary Kellett.
